The East Midlands Right Care team is organising a series of 'planning labs' to help commissioners, service managers and clinicians understand variation in performance/outcomes and steps which can be taken to address this.
The first planning lab is taking place on 10 May. It will review pathways for musculo-skeletal (MSK) services. A number of national speakers will update attendees on the national Right Care agenda, the patients’ perspective on MSK services and how other areas have re-modelled MSK services. Both lead clinicians and General practitioners have been invited to shape the future of MSK services in the East Midlands. The agenda for this event is available below.
Other planning labs taking place in 2011/2012 will review ophthalmology, ENT and obs/gynae services.
